A little bit about Thorney Offroad

Thorney Motorsport are one of the UK's largest road car tuning and racing companies specialising in the Vauxhall and BMW ranges. However our Offroad operation has grown out of a combination of racing and owning a working farm. Home is a small holding where we keep some livestock so we do have a good idea on the rigours a modern working ATV needs to be able to deal with.

There are a range of uses that need an offroad vehicle and the choice is quite varied so we specialise in speaking to customers to ascertain the requirements and supply a vehicle suited to those needs, no point having a unit capable of severe offroad duties if its spends 99% of its time on prepared roads and little point using a quad bike for transporting large items or people, its knowing these things and applying them to our customers needs we pride ourselves on.

Of course life is not all about hard work so over time we have developed the property to get some fun out these vehicles so we've built a custom test track on site to both develop new product but also act as a test/demo area for people to try these vehicles in an environment which they will be used in and as befits our racing heritage we have adopted and developed the Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i H.O. for more extreme offroad fun and racing.

For youth and young riders we have a dedicated offroad track to try the vehicles in perfect safety, we have all the safety gear and helmets you will require for use on these demonstrations and we have an extensive shop to purchase any accessories you may need.

Viewing and demonstrations are by appointment only please.

We are also an EASI® (European All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute) approved instructor which means we can provide safety training courses for ATV riders. Our trained technicians are able to handle any periodic servicing or upgrades you require and we offer a full on site servicing and maintenance service so that your vehicle doesn't need to be transported back to us for work or upgrades (cost depends on distance from us of course). We also offer a full national delivery service for sales of vehicles and parts/upgrades.
